For 21 years, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Dr. h.c. Ute-Henriette Ohoven organized the international charity gala to benefit Education for Children in Need.
According to US-Today, this gala is one of the best 10 charity events in the world. International stars and celebrities were honored. In 2012, the last charity gala was held.
Goodwill Ambassador Dr. h.c. Ute-Henriette Ohoven said, “Given the high point that we arrived at after 21 years of hosting this gala, we felt it was the right time to stop. Given the amount of donations we received and the star power that attended the gala in 2012, we had reached the pinnacle. There was no way to top Jennifer Lopez!” All the stars that participated in the gala did so at no cost.
