UN Water Report issued by UNESCO
In March, UNESCO issued the new United Nations Water Report. According to this report, climate change causes less water to be available and results in poorer water quality. In many areas of life, this is causing worldwide challenges. The world’s water usage has increased six times in the last one hundred years: 2.2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water. Currently, especially given the situation with COVID-19 this is unthinkable!
