Dear YOU friends and supporters,
2020 will truly put us all, the whole world, to a tremendous test! The COVID-19 pandemic hit us like a lightning strike, we are afraid for our loved ones, the economy is extremely stressed and our poorest countries in the world are in even greater need! At the same time, our family has faced the most severe personal loss, as my husband and father were torn from our midst far too soon.
Nevertheless, our mission requires all of our energy and faith to continue our project work in the world for the poorest of the poor.
With the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need, we bring hope and future to those who have been forgotten, to those who cannot count on any state aid and where extreme poverty, hunger, disease and great suffering regardless of further challenges like one Pandemic circulate without borders.
Despite the great hurdles that await us in Europe today, we ask you wholeheartedly to continue to support us for the extreme need and extreme poverty in the wide world and to stay by our side.
This year Christmas will not allow us to gather all our loved ones around us, but we wish you a Merry and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, for which we are all praying so that we can get the pandemic under control.
