The forgotten children of ROHINGYA – 10 early childhood development centers (ECD centers) – Cox’s Bazar
After the events of August 25, 2017, the Rohingya people were forcibly displaced from the state of Rakhine in Myanmar and arrived at the Cox’s Bazar District in Bangladesh. Currently, nearly one million Rohingya people live in this district. The children and families are forced to live in inhumane conditions and are in urgent need of essential supplies.
Thanks to this project, the health, quality of life, living conditions, and resilience of the children are being improved.
The first ECD learning centers with teaching materials were set up in Camp 12.
Classes are held five days a week for 210 children.
Our sincere thanks go to RTL Wir helfen Kindern for their valuable support!
