“Sacred Planet” Exhibition by Rita Sabo Supports the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
Ludwig Museum Koblenz on November 18, 2023
The preservation of planet Earth and the harmony of humans and nature are at the heart of artist Rita Sabo’s work. The increasing destruction of the earth and the needed awareness of the 17 Goals for Sustainable Development of the world community are reflected in the symbolic paintings and remarkable sculptures of the talented artist.
The speech at the exhibition opening on November 18, 2023, was given by the President of the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need, Dr. h.c. Ute Ohoven, who emphasized the urgency of action for the UN Goals of Agenda 2030, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs. The exhibition, which is well worth seeing, will run from November 18, 2023, to January 17, 2024, at the Ludwig Museum in Koblenz.
Thanks to the young and talented artist Rita Sabo, who has agreed to develop her own artistic interpretation to raise awareness of the Global Goals and launch a strong wake-up call for the initiative, the Sacred Planet exhibit highlights the urgency of saving our planet!
If we do not all get involved and act together, poverty will continue to increase and soon our planet will no longer be livable.
