Supporting education and skills development for mothers and marginalized students at the Community Learning Center (CLC) in Thailand.
Objective:
To emphasize the importance of education as a fundamental right of every human being and to promote skills development and empowerment.
Beneficiaries:
Marginalized students – young mothers
Single mothers who experienced teenage pregnancy
The project ensures that mothers who dropped out of school receive new educational opportunities and acquire skills that improve their employability. Safe spaces and care for their young children are provided during classes.
Result 1:
1,200 mothers were offered flexible learning and skills development programs.
Result 2:
The capacity of trainers and staff for 15 subdistricts was expanded to offer flexible learning and the necessary support for mothers and marginalized learners.
