Humanitarian Aid for Children in Refugee Camps in Myanmar<\/h4>\n

The many escalated conflicts and struggles in Myanmar have left thousands of people displaced from their homes. Villages were hit by artillery, innocent civilians were injured and killed. Groups of armed individuals kidnapped many young men and forced them into military action.<\/p>\n

People from more than 30 villages, mostly traditional farmers that rely on their harvest to survive, were forced to flee to escape torture and death.<\/p>\n

People had to leave all their belongings behind.<\/h4>\n

In Chin State, Paletwa Municipality, close to the border of Bangladesh, lies the IDP (Internally Displaced People) refugee camp. Here, the people that were forced to leave their homes and seek protection from armed rebel groups, attacks, and violence.
\nMany displaced people live in old rundown buildings or temporary housing outside of the official camps. Because of this, 1.781 children have no opportunity to learn or receive an education.<\/p>\n

The extremely desperate situation is made even worse made by the fact that there is little or no drinking water, no ability to wash, not enough to eat and no hope\u2026.<\/p>\n

Making it possible for children to access education<\/h4>\n

These innocent civilians urgently need help and support. Children must again be allowed to learn if not to for a few hours to forget the awful misery and suffering and to be children again.<\/p>\n

Please help us provide families with learning materials, hygienic articles, food, and medicine.<\/h4>\n

Emergency help for the people in the refugee camps<\/h5>\n

Tent housing for two large families:: starting at 800 \u20ac<\/strong>
\nBuilding a water tank for 100 people: starting at 550 \u20ac<\/strong>
\nField kitchen: starting at 300 \u20ac<\/strong>
\nLearning materials for 10 children per year: 200 \u20ac<\/strong>
\nMeals for 10 children for 10 days: 150 \u20ac<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this emergency situation, every Euro counts in making things more tolerable for people!<\/h4>\n
